After 6 months of planning, WISE 2025 has finally concluded on 14 November demonstrating the resilience of Hong Kong's financial services sector.

Facilitated by Control Risks, senior executives from 47 organizations and 4 regulators took time out to practice their response and collaboration, demonstrating the value they put on building resilience in Hong Kong.

The HKFSBCM Board cordially invites you to the kickoff workshop for the WISE 2025 Pre-Exercise Scenario Testing and WISE 2025 Exercise.
This in-person workshop is designed to provide details on the exercise, including available support and the execution of crisis management and scenario testing. A tutorial will be included on utilizing the provided tools for executing the WISE 2025 project.

The Hong Kong Whole Industry Simulation Exercise (WISE) is a biennial exercise that is led and managed by Hong Kong Financial Services Business Continuity Management (HKFSBCM) Forum. The HKFSBCM Forum is an independent, non-profit organization that brings together BCM professionals to discuss operational risks and industry developments that may impact the financial services sector in Hong Kong.

As we see more instances of severe weather, cyber-attacks, third party outages or communicable diseases, it is more important than ever to ensure institutions strengthen their response and recovery strategies as well as their preparedness. The role of business continuity management continues to evolve to meet the changing risk landscape as regulators are requiring the embedding of Operational Resilience into BAU management priorities and practices of authorized institutions.
